Happy New Year to you all! Hope you’ve all had a great time with family and friends, and hope you’ve all seen STAR WARS! We’re truly thankful with your patience thus far and hope our recent posts have met your expectations. Here’s a blast from the past and a signal to catch up. The surprise became too long to fit here, so expect an entire post for that. Continue reading
Has officially lost it’s credibility as both a serious mystery and over-the-top drama. This was not a good way to end things. Continue reading
Compared to the first 6 episodes, there aren’t much bonus tweaks here. And while it’s still really good, the cracks present in its source are starting to show. Continue reading
With a bigger budget and a longer episode count, this could have been amazing. As it stands, it offers a bit more to chew on compared to your average harem while delivering the goodies in a tasteful manner. Continue reading
Wow, we’re here already!? After all the tears, drama, and beautiful animation, we’ve officially made it half way through Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. So how is the show? Well it’s still extremely enjoyable, giving a nice book end and thematic closure to the first half, while opening up more possibilities for the future. It’s smart, heartfelt, and I hope I can express my multi-faceted feelings for this show in this post. So anyways, on with the show! Continue reading
Even without a servant battle, these episodes do a damn fine job building up tension with a story that’s been told before. Sorry for the delay, but I feel like taking my time with this one. Continue reading
Yikes, it’s been a while hasn’t it! Yeah, sorry I haven’t been very consistent with this series lately, real life happened, and as we all know, real life is a jerk. Anyways, with that small disclaimer being said, how have the past 5 episodes of Kiseijuu been? Well, if I had to be frank, they’ve been pretty dang good! The characters are intriguing, the plot salivating, and the animation as consistently Madhouse as ever. And with this other disclaimer said, on with the post! Continue reading

Hey guys, I’m back. Pardon the absence, school’s been a pain and I’m currently in the middle of finals period. That being said, I do need to bring up this judgment on Chaika. Let this final review of Chaika S2 begin!
Wow that was fast! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a series improve so quickly after writing a post about it. I mean literally episodes 5 and 6 improved on everything I complained about in my first post. Yona’s development picked up the pace, the relationship between her and Hak got more focus, and while it’s still somewhat generic, it’s execution has improved tenfold! I’m not quite sure what happened in the production here, but I’m just going to assume that the series was just getting off to a slow start. Either that or Akatsuki no Yona really wanted to prove my original opinion on it wrong! Continue reading
