Ah. My third Rumiko Takahashi work that I watched. And the latest one too. What do I think of it? It’s… decent. I’ll be honest I did not enjoy it as much as I did with Ranma 1/2. It just feels… hollow. And annoying.
Hey guys! Chuckster96 here. Finally getting back on the second season of Mushishi Zoku Shou. I have to say at this point I’m very in the middle between liking it, and not caring much for it. After watching several episodes the simplistic art style really started to lose it’s touch. What once looked like an attempt at establishing perspective now seems like an excuse for not having to scrunch in a face with decent detail. Anyway, on to the impressions!
…Words cannot describe how infuriated I am about this sequel, but i’m going to try. Word of caution; this is going to be long and ugly. Continue reading

World Trigger is bad. I mean just look at the title of this post and the screenshot above, and you’ll understand that World Trigger is a very bad show. Which is weird because from everything I had heard about this show up until it aired, it seemed like it was nothing but potential. Not only was it based off a pretty well received shonen manga, but it also had a unique art style and a fun, albeit generic premise. What could possibly go wrong?… Well I’ll tell you what went wrong: EVERYTHING! Continue reading

I’m not really a Detective Conan fan. Oh don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the series! It’s just that at this point the show has such a high barrier entry that the thought of trying to watch all 700 plus episodes fills me with fear. So I was quite surprised when I figured out a few weeks that this show I was interested in was related to the Detective Conan franchise, and immediately I worried that this too would spawn an infinitely running series that I’d have no motivation to watch. Luckily though, after a little bit of researching, I figured out that the Magic Kaito manga was only 4 volumes long to begin with, and that this new series will only be 24 episodes. With my interest renewed I jumped into this series with extreme curiosity, and in return I was greeted with a surprisingly fun experience! Continue reading
I will first open with this statement. I am not a big fan of this reboot. Maybe its just my nostalgic urges that doesn’t want change that rising before me but hey what can I do about that. I’m a human being. For those that may know Sailor Moon it was a very straight forward magical girls without this deconstruction craze of the 21st century with Madoka Magica (still love you) and Princess Tutu (still love you) that dealt with stuff like defeating evil to do cutesy stuff and in the end save the day and stuff along with the classic close to a minute long transformation sequence. Has the potential to be good, but not enough to convince me to continue writing. Continue reading
